Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions. Fw-58 "Weihe" nose-cone view on postcard.  this image looks 'staged' to me; maybe it's the lighting?  Would it be possible to get this image from a plane that's actually in flight?

I find it doubtful unless the photographer was mounted on the left propeller spinner.  It looks like a composite photo.

It would be difficult to get sufficient deapth of field with the lens to include both the machinegunner and the background airplane in focus at the same time.

yes, my first impression is that it's staged.  shows some nice detail, though!  propaganda purposes would be well-served with a postcard like this.

It doesn't even look like a photograph. More like a well done drawing.

Good Hunting.
