Postcard image celebrating liberation of the Netherlands, c.1945.  I don't know if this is specific to Holland and other provinces had similar postcards published or not.

Holland is often used instead of The Netherlands Smiley

Holland free again

'Duitschland' is old style Dutch writing. In German its Deutschland, the reason why many Americans mix up the two countries.
The 's' was in lots of cases written and spelled as 'sch'
The German Eagle now seems to be a 'featherfree' chicken or turkey, very interesting postcard!
