Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions. Quote
The Battle of Camarón occurred on 30 April 1863, between the French Foreign Legion and the Mexican army. In this battle the French Foreign Legion made its legend. A small infantry patrol led by Captain Jean Danjou, Lt Maudet and Lt Vilain, numbering 62 soldiers and 3 officers was attacked and besieged by a force that may have eventually reached 2,000 Mexican infantry and cavalry, and was forced to make a defensive stand at the nearby Hacienda Camarón, in Camarón de Tejeda, Veracruz, Mexico.

ps: if you want to link a topic with the date in the calendar you should read this 'how-to': http://www.warandtactics.com/smf/wat-board-technical-info/how-to-post-an-event-or-a-birthday-to-the-calendar/

I entered this date in the calendar so it's ok now  salute

to keep it simple: you should open an event in the calendar and choose 'open a topic' in the correct board (this one). That way a new topic gets opened here and you can modify it.
