Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions. Several weeks ago, a personal Hero passed on to the otherside. I am only now able to put into words some of my feelings. He was a Marine who served and was wounded  in the Korean War. And taught me many of the truths of life, he was my role model, my Godfather, my Uncle Donnie, he was affectionately known as Uncle King Kong to my generation. He was a hard drinking, Irishman, who when young, would fight at the drop of a hat, but in his later years was a fount of wisdom and love.. He called us kids, his 'Critters', a title we wear proudly in his honor. Thanks Uncle Donnie!

I know - from similar loss - that we others here will never be able to share your feeings totally, I just hope he - and you - would have liked to have a drink on that one (the Irish way):

The Partin' Glass

Live what he taught you to be significance,

With whatever I can share,

I salute his courage, honor and commitment.  And his sacrifice.
Thank you for our freedom.
