Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions. I have played through the campaign.
Much improvemenrt of arms , latest model weapons included.
But als the first game to have a FAL rifle included Smiley

Nontheless the story line is nice with an open ending so there is room for another part..
Scenarios presdent fighting in Afghnaistan, attacking civilians on an airfield as well as Russian attacks on US cities like Washington DC.
One thing I like was that in a certain mission I had to defend Nates Burgertown restaurant Knipoog
Overall a good game.

The campaign was okay, although not as cool as most people told it was. I guess I have played too many of them shooters until now to be really awed by something. Grijns

Most irritating about COD 2 is the internetplay.
Gamey tactics are awarding.
There is nu feeling with reall ife combat.
It is more a game now where young fast computer(nerds) can kill you easy.
All kinds of rediculous modes are available.
For instance the mode with sprint, ninja and knife.
Unbeatable.
Guys come running to you on open streets very fast and stab you, sometimes form 50 meters away and you cant do anything to defend.
Most of the guys in our clan have gone back to Joint Operations.

So you do have a clam that plays shooters? I'm sometimes tempted to join one, but I wouldn't join an online caln without knowing someone.

On topic: Haven't even tried the MP mode - I'm sticking with a modded BF1942 and BF2 for that.

Yes I have, great fun.
We all join on Teamspeak.
There we have several channels open, for most of the current popular shooters.
You simply join the channel for a game you like and starts playing with people allready there or you wait for others.
We also have our own gameservers.
Too bad though you have to play cod2 with steam servers.
We would like to have the liberty to kick players who use faul language or whom are clear cheaters.
Another bad shortcoming for cod 2
