Hi to all!

Well, all is rolling along in Balkan Land. I just returned from a six day/2000 km run on the HOG from Dubrovnik to Vukovar to commemorate the Battle that was fought there! There were over 200 riders! Below is a website with video from the 2009 Run and the ceremony at the memorial cemetery.  The run went well with only a little rain the last 200 km! We were lucky for this time of year!  Better Lucky than Good as they say!

You might also be interested in reading about the battle since it is the epitome of a Infantry force (Croatian) totally decimating an heavy armored force (Serbian) (Hundreds of Tanks and armored vehicles were destroyed, 80 in one day and 14 by a single soldier, all with light anti tank shoulder fired weapons!) that attacked in a built up area (See Phase I of the battle). The street, Trpinjska Street,  is now called the "Tank Graveyard"! This same principles applied in the battle also apply to fighting on the CM Front as well!

jealous Koen here.... damn.... HOG rider and even more.... riding with a whole bunch combined with history....  smallclap

maybe you should drop by once... you know that Belgium has alot to offer on battlefields....

about your latest trip: how is the sentiment in the group when you're remembering a recent combat/war event? with WWI & II it's history but the Balkan wars are quite close in the past.... (sry for my bad English.... tired and drinking whiskey-colas  waa )
