Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions. Is it intended that each player take the same side, Allied or Axis, in both scenarios?  I ask because I don't remember from the previous rounds.

Yes, for both battles you play the same side (easier for me with passwords.)

Games with Marshall well under way. Made a mess already in the CMBB match. Thought it was a ME in which we started at opposite sides of the map: dead Russian squads litter the streets.....

Curious if the CMAK one will be balanced; with all the strange units on both sides.

Yes, like the CMAK one. Lik ethe CMBB one much less: very difficult to get anywhere in that one. The CMAK one gives you a lot op options for surpises, tactics etc.

that is intentional, you are in the middle of the battle, not at the start of it....options are indeed few...attack is almost the only option you have...

What I will say without providing any spoiling information is that I'm glad I'm playing as the Axis in both battles.  The Kharkov battle is brutal!

Anyone heard from Rob (Dakotajudo)?  I've sent him my set up twice as well as a couple of emails in between.  I got one email indicating he did not get my set up that I sent at the beginning of August.

He had problems with his account, should be fixed now, please let me know!

Bill and I are beside ourselves laughing at every new turn... we just don't have a clue anymore as to where we are both going to get smoked from.  So far, the allies (me) have been on the long end, but it seems that Germans keep popping up no matter what I do or where I attack.

Very fun, yet highly uncomfortable scenario.  Keeps the butt cheeks well clenched.

Cheers!

Destructive, yes.  Especially when one plane was able to cause literally a third of all my casualties with just one bombing run!!!   Kwaad
