Impressive.

What I dont understand is how long it took to scramble units in the first vid,  I imagine /and have understod form the comms) that those thugs shooting at the helo were given top prioriy some 3 minutes into the vid, still it took 15 minutes to scramble re-inforcements on the ground.

Had the guys been wicked they would have abandoned in the tunnel and gotten out on foot through the emer exits w(o a problem, not an optimal setup from the Belgian Police Forces.

Am I missing something?

indeed, the chopperguys were getting really 'nervous'.... problem is that we don't have 'hot pursuit' policecars.... they're all standard versions and well.... Volvo's..... maybe 'safe' but ....

and when you don't see any back up on the ground while getting fired at by an AK-47 you get pissed  hdbng

Good news for car enthusiasts:

The "Terrafugia" Roadable Aircraft (commonly known as "Flying Car") has gotten its license and may be sold openly in 2012. Transitioning between the two modes takes only 30 seconds, and it fits in any normal garage parking space.

The price is a highflyer: 140.000 Euros (200k $), you will need both a driver license and a PPL to move it and it won´t help you to avoid traffic jams: To fly it you have to take off off a regular air field.

Anyway, I am sure many will get one just for the show...
