Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions. If you get me as your next opponent, you get a free bucket of KFC.  Everybody wins when they play Leto!

Cheers!

At this moment it looks as though your opponent is living somewhere in France.  My current seeding chart has WaW going up against the gamers from Appui-feu. Good luck with that....

I'm not sure they appreciate KFC there........ Huh?.....at  least not like the rest of the world does!

Good Hunting.

We need to build some Popeye's Fried Chicken over there!  Cajuns speak French (well, Franglish) so you should love Popeye's.   Grijns

Yup, that was me who dropped out. The "BF-Forgotten Ground" is just way too large for me. I'm currently playing a similarily sized battle in a wBoB tournament, and doing the turns sometimes is more like work than like fun, so I don't want to add another one like that to my list.

I apologize all around and especially to Antoni and Steve.

Good luck to all!

Following on from Steve's request for discussion on the Forgotten Ground battle, I have yet to see it but from all reports it's a 17,000 point monster which is really asking too much in my mind to do on top of 2 other significant size battles.  Bearing in mind that there is a strict 3 month deadline to complete all 3 battles I have to say that I can't commit the time I would need to do those battles any justice.

Bearing in mind that it took the majority of participants more than the alloted time to complete their round 1 battles, where 2 of those 3 battles were much smaller than any of the 2nd round ones I feel that a rethink is needed.  My preference would be for just the 2 so called "smaller" battles to complete for round 2 with the Forgotten Ground one kept up the organisers sleeve for a later round.  When bringing out this massive battle it would make sense to have it paired with a much smaller one to make it easier on the participants to complete the round.  If it means having to create an extra round then so be it.

These are my thoughts anyway.
