Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions. Op aandringen van een kuchende man in regenjas in de parkeerkelder, heb ik hier even een accountje aangemaakt.

Oberland.

(kom er ook eens kijken, het forum is nog steeds erg klein, we gaan binnenkort op in de site met de ondertitel: "the most complete and sophisticated reference on the World Wide Web for the U.S., German and Netherlands Armed Forces: 1985 - Present")

Thx for introducing Obi!

The link is interesting.
I will have a look, some of my direct colleagues are registered there to.
I hope writing in English isnt a problem for you because that is the main language on this server.
Dutch is very hard to read for 99% of the visitors ;-)

For you the OOB and TO & E sections on the forum are probably the most interesting ones.
We can use more detailed input on vehicles and tanks!

I didn't notice English is our language.  whistle

My name is Oberland, Obi for short.
A well known nickname with a rich history in 'this' line of business.

Interested in wars from 1939 until today. Tactics? No, not really.

I am an amateur photographer with a defence portfolio since 1980 (in Kodachrome). Since a couple of years specializing in defence photography (documentary).

Furthermore, I'm moderator at http://landmachtspotters.nl/ (army spotters). Please have a peek, a very small forum. It will be incorporated in an initiative with the title "the most complete and sophisticated reference on the World Wide Web for the U.S., German and Netherlands Armed Forces: 1985 - Present")

Hi Obi,

Good to see you showed up here, I took  my raincoat off now ;-)
I am pretty sure you can find a lot of stuff here.
And I think you can add more either Smiley

Anyway, have fun looking around and welcome on the site!
