Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions. Henk.

I'm wondering what the rules were regarding opponents who prematurely surrender?  I note that one of the top 3 had two surrender results in the mid 90's in round 1 because his opponent apparently didn't have the time to complete the battles.  If these surrenders happened early on in the battles then it's quite an advantage to be in that favourable position through no skill on the players behalf.

I would have thought that it would be a requirement to complete at least 75% of ther allowable turns in a battle to at least get a feel for how the 2 opposing sides were faring after crossing swords to a significant degree.  Alternatively, perhaps a substitute player should be brought in to complete the remaining turns or at least enough turns to get the battle over the 75% mark.  Could you please clarify this?

BTW, you have my accumulated score incorrect to date as the 1st round scores should add up to 142 and there are no 2nd round scores listed although the results were certainly posted in the appropriate thread where the appropriate accumulated scores for both battles was 172.  The third round battles are slowly reaching their conclusion and expect to be able to post final results for them by around the end of April.

Regards

vR.

I've added up my points over the last three rounds and it appears that I have amassed 436.  From what I see above, that puts me on top of the heap.

Please confirm.

RD 1 vs Dave Pick Axe

81-19
65-35
41-59

RD 2 vs Surcouf
69-31
50-50

RD 3 vs SSN651

58-42
78-22
Cheers!

Leto,

In round 1 there were problems with 1 of the 3 scenarios.
Therefore tnobody has the third battle recorded in the final score.
