Postcard captioned "Ranger Course Camp Atterbury Indiana."  Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camp_Atterbury doesn't mention any Ranger units in its Camp Atterbury article and my guess is that the postcard is a bit off rather than wikipedia.  Perhaps 'ranger' was a particular job in a unit instead of the type of unit with special training (I doubt this.)

I think that they refer to the course and not to the troops involved, meaning: normal GI's on a 'Ranger' course
