Hitler's started renting the Haus Wachenfeld in 1927 or '28. He purchased the house in 1933 and remodeled it a bit in 1934 and then extensively in 1936 when the name was changed to the Berghof. These postcard images are from after the re-model and show the oppulent home of the German leader.
