a diagram starts with [??] and ends with [/??] ??=table
a horizontal line starts with [??] and ends with [/??] ??=tr
and every input starts with [??] and ends with [/??] ??=td

you can, of course, build longer/wider diagrams

Trying that

line 1:a1b1c1d1
line 2:a2b2c2d2
line 3:a3b3c3d3
line 4:a4b4c4d4

NOTE this is not a "diagram", but something called a "table" (a diagram would be graphically representing data).

I spaced the table code up and changed the code layout a bit for easier readability/conversability (check by copying/pasting the code field into your next post), works like a charme.

Code for the above table:

Code:
[table]

[tr]
[td]line 1:[/td] [td]a1[/td] [td]b1[/td] [td]c1[/td] [td]d1[/td]
[/tr]

[tr]
[td]line 2:[/td] [td]a2[/td] [td]b2[/td] [td]c2[/td] [td]d2[/td]
[/tr]

[tr]
[td]line 3:[/td] [td]a3[/td] [td]b3[/td] [td]c3[/td] [td]d3[/td]
[/tr]

[tr]
[td]line 4:[/td] [td]a4[/td] [td]b4[/td] [td]c4[/td] [td]d4[/td]
[/tr]

[/table]

In general, to create a table in a post you will need to have "opening" tags and "closing" tags, nesting them within each other:

For the table:

Code:
[table]
[/table]

For each line (table row):

Code:
[tr]
[/tr]

For each cell in a line:

Code:
[td][/td]

Enter the values within the line and cell tags.

More detailed information about this in HTML documents (for your web page): http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_tables.asp

Hope this clarifies and helps,
