Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions. This scenario is about 19 pz attacking Glowaczow in september 1944.

No briefing jet,

Here is the deal.
Germans,

Attack the village and set up defensive positions after capturing the town, prepare for a possible counterattack.

Russians,

Defend the city , recapture it in case the town will be occupied by the Germans.

damn...did your buttons got stuck when you bought units?  hihi

this is a giant one...but maybe I should try it....I love panzers...

are there German reinforcements? If so, wouldn't the attackers know what and when?
I can ofcourse look in the editor but not sure if that's allowed...

is it ok when I put some details on the map? (I am working on the map...NOT forces or such)
won't the german landmarks show also for the russian player?

yellow set-up zone...I deleted some yellow tiles at the Russian side of the river, bit too easy to put some panzers at that side of the river... hihi

LOL no Smiley

The yellow setup areas are there for a reason, up to the player to risk his panzers there Smiley
This is a raw map , the battle is not finished.
But any thing you do on it will save me work Smiley
I am more interested in test results first .

I'll test it, do you want those specific yellows back? I do think it's better/more realistic without them. I could place some yellows in 'woods' so that the player can choose to put infantry but without the possibility to put panzers across the river.

I'm busy with the map, I'll upload a new version and then I'm available as german player...KABOEM!

A player might want to place som e of his tanks there, I would not do it but I leave the choice to the players themselves.
Please send the map to me first before uploading it.

Yo Henk, Im about to start playtesting this one, but first a few questions...

1. Is it meant for one player or two?

2. Is single player possible for Allies?

3. Any testing been done yet?

That would be fine with me, however, I'd like to get the go ahead to your revamped file before we do, as I'd hate to go through all the trouble of setting up to find out...oops, a major glitch. So once Henk gives the OK, Im ready to start. Interogatively, Im still waiting on a turn from you (Koen) on the game we are playing...?

My buddies and I have a way to deal with potential lost turns...after you feel like a sufficient time has gone by and you have heard nothing from your opponent, we fire off what we call a 2nd shot. As we never know when the internet or the US govt intercepts/loses a turn, we just send another  and call it the 2nd shot. No offense taken and none given, just a way to keep the games rolling.
