Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions. This is the discussion area for constructing 'Clash of Beasts' 2 following the success of episode 1  Brede lach (ahum...we're still at playtest no.1.......  Knipoog )

It will be CMAK with a huge map where lots of tanks and infantry will fight for terrain, flags and their lifes.

And as with no. 1 it will not be an only-armour battle.

Wanna have a word in the creation?

Sure...that's why this topic's been created.

Koen,
Ach du lieber....I am still plowing through Clash of Beasts 1 for CMBB.  I almost passed out when I saw 85+ turns.  And now you start the creation of Beasts 2.  Please, have mercy..... Grijns

Still too early in Beasts 1 to comment.  Map is interesting, and IS-2 sightings are giving my infantry squads real reason to worry.  Purple flares are going off everywhere.

I was kind of thinking...that instead of "Bocage" terrain...something like 1945, Combined terrain, gives a dry dusty base, heavy trees, gives enough room for armor movement, large town, gives something to fight for, 5-7 large flags, gives points to justify losses, gentle hills, medium damage. On the face of it...American armor would be the cheap, fast M18...versus the expense and heavy armor of the German Panther. Infantry wise, engineer battalions on both sides would be correct for the town enviroment.

infantry and engineers in town at both ends working towards the center

armor battling outside town and working towards center-town?

yes, with a map large enough that armor flanking is possible, also with infantry in town supported by Priests and Sig's and numerous support weapons...maybe some of that excellent allied air support with heavy bombing capabilities.

Armor in the streets looks good...get rid of the rivers....3 times as wide and 2 -3 times as long.
