Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions. I found this site while searching.
Has good info on TOE's and OOBs

Website is off the air I can advice the book: Normandy 1944 by Niklas Zetterling, link removed Bedroefd

Quote
This site has so far been devoted to the German forces in Normandy. The reason for this has been a book project I have been working on. This book has now been completed, printed and is ready for sale. It discusses several important issues pertaining to Normandy, like:

- How many German soldiers fought in Normandy
- What were the German losses in Normandy
- Why did the Germans not bring units more quickly to Normandy
- How efficient were the German forces
- What effect did allied air power have on German operations
- The German tanks in Normandy
- German unit organization

Also there is a complete OB, where every participating unit is given data similar to that presented on this site. The book does however include all units.

Further data is presented in several appendices. Also a few other historians are sharply critized. The title of the book is "Normandy 1944, German Military Organization, Combat Power and Organizational Effectiveness". The ISBN number is 0-921991-56-8. It can also be ordered online from the publisher. For a review, click here.

For those interested in tank battles on the eastern front can take a look at a book I have written with Anders Frankson on Kursk 1943. A review can be found at Stone and Stone.

The future direction of this site is currently uncertain. I will have to consider further what I will do next.

Try to convince him to add the oobs here on the site.
And..with some luck he can help/give advice with the administrative/librarian issues Rattler brought up.

well, it's worth the effort but I don't expect much when I read this:

During the spring 2000 I have been awfully busy, partly by two book projects. The first is a book on the battle at Kursk 1943, written together with Anders Frankson and published by Frank Cass. The second is a book on the German Ground Forces in Normandy 1944, which will contain all the data on this site, plus much more. It will be published during the autumn by Fedorowicz.

Probably I will from now on find more time for the site.

You might ask him( if he replies) to offer that he can put the stuff on our side so he can spare time to work without working on the site Knipoog

no, never go to fast when communicating with strangers, I always give them a couple of days/1 week before I re-contact them.
