On the second day of my tour through Berlin I have visited the Jewish historical museum located at the Lindenstrasse.
It shows all aspects of Jewish live in Germany for over 2 millennia.
History, pictures, art and personal stories of many jewish people who lived in Germany.
It has off course also a lot of information about the Holocaust.
The most shocking item in the museum is a grey painted triangular room with a heavy steel door and a small opening in the roof where a littlebit of sunlight comes in.
This room gave me the chills and I felt like if all victims watched at me through that small opening, it was very emotionally.
You have to watch it yourself to feel the emotional value of that room.
The building was designed by Daniel Liebeskind and its based on a star of David which is shattered and torn apart.
It is a building where architecture meets emotion very well.
