The German army has ordered a second batch of 41 DINGO2 Heavy protected personell and material carrier from Krauss-Maffei.
They will be brought to Afghanistan later this year for the German troops in the region.
All vehicles will be equiped with the FLW 100 remote control weaponsystem.
A batch of damaged vehicles will be returned to Germany and will be upgraded to the DINGO 2 version.


Netherlands defense procurement office and Thales has signed a contract for the delivery and installation of a new Integrated mast to be buid on the new joint logistic support ship.
The I- Mast 400.
It will be build by the Navy in Den Helder the subsystems will be build by Thales in Hengelo.
Sceduled delivery to the shipyard is planned for january 2014.
The systemes should be operational on the first ship around 2015.

Turkey has selected Aselsan to develop and produce a new helmet integrated cueing system for its new T129 recon and attack heloes.
The system is used for situational awareness and weapon cueing.


The UK government has granted Saab (sweden) a contract for maintenance and support of the armies training sytstems.
The contract is worth 150 SEK.
Its an extension of the existing programe and it will include all sytms in the UK/Germany and Canada.
The prgram is for tow years with additional options.

South America

After Putins visit, the last of 35 MI17 helicopters were delivered to the country.
Included in this the batch are 10 Mi-35M and 3 Mi-26T's
The Venezuelan Navy received the first Pagalo P51 patrol boat.
The boat is locally constructed with help from Damen shipyard of the Netherlands(!)
Its armed with a single Browning M2 and has room for 11 crewmembers.

The NAVY announcedit is interested in procuring of 5 1800 ton OPV's.
The preferred model is the Fossmer OPV80.
8 companies sent their models and plans.
Already Chile and Argentinia has these ships operational with options for more.

Bought 2 MI17 heloes for use in Antartica.
Their current helicopters could not transport enough cargo, therefor a new helicopter was needed.

Far East

Thales will deliver IFF transponders , (CIT and NSM) systems for the airforce MIG 29 fighters.
First deliveries will bstart somewhere in 2010, the first operational in aircraft will be mid 2011.
The IFF CIT equipment choosen in the TSB 2500 family offers a modern digitally ID capability along NAVO standards.
India will than have its own secured national IFF capability.
