Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions. Check out this vid of some piece activists entering a Nuclear Missiles storing NATO Air base in Belgium, walk about the runway, enter a hardened a/c shelter, without getting caught (the guards only realize when they go straight to them). And, they did not do that once, they managed to rip it of twice!

Now, I have no doubt those people (http://www.vredesactie.be/index.php?lang=en) are most probably very peaceful folks and just trying to point out the dangers of having nukes on your territory (and, seen what is shown, rightly so!), but, they also might have been a bunch of terrorist trying to place a nice little crater in the center of NorthWest Europe... (I know, those babies are sooooo safe against wronly being ignited you don´t really have to guard them, but what if they simply had wanted to steal them, e.g.??)...

Flabbergasting!

Koen, can you shade some light on standard security SOPs in BE?

1. there are NO nukes in Belgium  Huh? ...well....euh....questions about the nukies were never answered, acknowledged or denied...until the present minister of defense didn't know how to react to those questions....

2. demonstrations at Kleine Brogel are very common....routine....by people who are known by police and military...they are more some kind of folklore

3. since there are NO nukes at Kleine Brogel there's NO special security or police....logic not? (special security would mean there's something of value.....)

4. indeed, the Belgian nukes (who don't exist) are relics...something from another age...

5. no, Belgium is NOT NATO-standard

6. yes, I served at Kleine Brogel

LOL,

We have them at an airbase here, I dont say which one Knipoog
That particular airbase has a US unit stationed .
And a part of the base is US territory.
So the Dutch government claims there are no nukes on Dutch soil Smiley
