The use of animals in military ceremony and warfare has always interested me. On a trip to Cardiff (Wales) in 2010 I encountered the stuffed Qatar goat Billy of the Royal Welch Fusiliers. Here in Spain, the goat is the mascot of the Legion, the current one "Tizona" (not sure, could be "Rudolf" as well) bearing the rank of Sergeant.

Here you see her (45 secs into the vid) in a desfile of the legion 2008 in its traditional 160 steps/min parade step.
