Ok, I think we need a board for that, but I will leave those decisions to the owners.

Anyway, there are some nice mil tunes that have moved (or not?) a lot of soldiers in the last decades, here one, from Ireland (and as Rattler has left for a while):

Quote
Sinne Fianna Fáil
Atá fé gheall ag Éirinn,
buion dár slua
Thar toinn do ráinig chugainn,
Fé mhóid bheith saor.
Sean tír ár sinsear feasta
Ní fhágfar fé'n tiorán ná fé'n tráill
Anocht a théam sa bhearna bhaoil,
Le gean ar Ghaeil chun báis nó saoil
Le gunni scréach fé lámhach na bpiléar
Seo libh canaídh Amhrán na bhFiann.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
English Translation: (Should never be sung in English)
Soldiers are we
Whose lives are pledged to Ireland;
Some have come
From a land beyond the wave.
Sworn to be free,
No more our ancient sire land
Shall shelter the despot or the slave.
Tonight we man the "varna-bwail" (gap of danger)
In Erin's cause, come woe or weal
'Mid cannons' roar and rifles' peal,
We'll sing a soldier's song.
Amhrán na bhFiann - Irish National Anthem
Russian Partizan song (Spanish Brigade):
Quote
"Por montañas y praderas
avanza la división,
al asalto va a tomarse
la enemiga posición.
Rojo el bosque de banderas
en la marcha rumbo al sur:
son los obreros en armas,
partisanos del amor.
La gloria de esos combates
no se apagará jamás.
¡Adelante camaradas
los echaremos al mar!
Quedará en la leyenda
de esta guerra, este volcán,
los días de Balachaied,
los soldados del soviet.
Se acabaron lo bandidos,
se acabó la intervención,
nuestra marcha ha terminado
¡viva la revolución!"
Canción de los Partisanos/as (versión en español)
Enjoy (or not, Soli  Grijns), but really I like the tune and the way it copes with the lyrics, the Revs were always better at composing motivating songs Smiley
LOOOOL you veterinary bastard...LOOOOOL. I don´t hate any other side mate. I am not exactly don´t even remember the names but it was said once was a famous German military commander with a similar Spanish one during 2nd WW and he asked him, hoping to find as answer "German"..."Which army do you think is best in the world".
Spanish commander said "Spanish army sir"
German commander thought answer was a patriotic feeling so decided it was correctly and asked then "and the second one?"
Spanish commander replied "Spanish red army, because they are also Spanish"
I mean with this mate, all we fought for the same, for Spain only diffeence was that for the idea of Spain they had themselves, anyway 90% of soldiers fought not for ideals but because they where in a side when the war begun and the had to join that file, most of them had not even idea of what they where told, they just acted like they where demanded.
Good song mate
