Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions. Until the moment I win some lottery or my father-in-law spends some of his money I need to go to work!

Where? In an Audi workshop
What? In the normal context I'm a clientadvisor aftersales, in the last year I've been pumpin water out of a sinking boat...Luckily new people are starting within the next 2 months so that I can return to a 'normal' job.
When? Fulltime from monday till thursday, twice 0700-1900 and twice 0700-1700.

Here...B&O

me...drunk...at the re-opening of the showroom and administration part

the office

the new showroom at the openingsnight....man I was drunk....

Well, to earn my money, I buy and sell postcards, photographs and other 'paper' collectibles.

I am currently between careers. A back injury and permanent nerve dmg have ended my ability to trade my Warehouseing skills for geld. And in their infinite wisdom, the powers that be said, since I had exp working in an office, I dont need retraining, because I already have the skills to be a telemarketer! Little do they know me, for surely, I dont have the temperment to be a telemarketer.

Examples:
Me: Good evening , M'am/Sir. Im with.....
other:  *click*
Me: "#^&#^&%&"

me: Good evening, M'am/Sir....
other: Why do you guys insist on calling me during the dinner hour?
me: because you werent home during lunch...?
other: *click*
Me: "#$%^&$#&"

Me: Yes, Boss?
Boss: You must really try a bit harder...
Me: "Kiss my #$$"  *walks off job muttering to self*

Take my word for it, it wouldnt work...

That's a pretty impressive work place Koen. I'm a sales and marketing director for an environmental company. Nothing as glamorous as the auto industry.

Good Hunting.

I admire you, seriously: I recall when I wa s16/17. just left my fathers house in a quarrel still being in school, having to make ends meet working night time between school and school.

If it is as a lone mother, even more admirable:

We all have the idea that any father sould contribute his part, out of sheer personal feelings towards his offspring, but I know often that is not the case (JFTR, from my POV there is no excuse like "Oh, sorry, currently I am a bit broke...!?" Really?! So, go and sell your ass on the seafront, but do not never ever leave a kid of yours without what it needs with that excuse, if you truly felt what means having a son/daughter you would comply and not even ask, or less, complain (even if it is "screw the bitch all the way" with your ex, one does not have anything to do with the other)...!)

Onwards, princesa! Animo!

Rattler

P.S.: Selecting the right male, though, is another thread, and, from my POV, the ball there is totally in you court and shows bad judgement: Women select (and so, are responisble for their choice)! R.

since this topic has revived I must say that after more then 2 1/2 years battling and fighting for this firm I'm now working in a different firm...
I work harder now, more days and still have some very tough months to go but I can see what my hard work leads to...

less negative stress, less Stasi enviroment, more teamwork...It's hard to explain what kind of man(?) my boss was...let's say that almost everyone who he worked with departed...and all that happens now with his firm is his own fault...I'm not a harsh hateful person but he had it coming...I warned them so many times but at the end I was the f*cker who got on their nerves...well...

the firm shown on top is for sale with a financial draw so big that several interested firms have withdrawn from the negociations....

but hey...they drove around in nice cars, had personalized numberplates, design furniture etc etc....but how to manage a firm? euh....

I also have changed my means, as I now draw a pension from the US Govt as a disabled Veteran. It was a long and bitter fight with the VA for me (2 1/2 years) but I finally received my due recognition.

Cannot express how much I am delighted to hear that! From what I know, veterans are always gettting fucked up the ass for good, as they are "spent material" from state POV and hence liability rahter than assett (what an error!):

Ronnie Drew (R.I.P.) - The Band Played Waltzing Matilda. OT: I have had the chance to see him perform live, and in private (Frankfurt, Irish Pub, 1978, what a man!)

I teach ESL too Sky but just as a volunteer. We don't get paid for it, but then from what you said, you don't get paid much more than that either.

We do appreciate full time teachers and their efforts to do the right thing.   smallclap

Thank you!!!!.........Teaching is a gift...not everyone can do it......Therefore I feel honored and privileged to have the desire and love to help, motivate, teach, and encourage our children to learn Smiley....the reward is definitely not in the money...but the outcome of what a little one can accomplish Smiley....I love what I do...and I love children *big smile*
