In the preview, complying with my technical view on things:

Paul (the "Oracle Of Oberhausen") hs made up his mind (fter 3.5 hours of contemplation): Spain will win tonights mtch vs. Germany, according to him.

If you do not know who Paul is, better learn and take him seriously: A friendly octopus who scientists mde predict match outcomes from the Euro to the WC, and so fr he (in the competitive matches this WC) has hd  100% success rate (he predicted the loss of Spin vs. Swizerland, the loss of Germany vs. Serbi, the elimination both of England and Argentina... He failed once so far in all his betting history, so there is hope, the final of the EC he gve to Germany...).

The tests works as follows:

They put two identicl glss boxes on the bottom of the aquarium where he lives, both with a flg and a mussle, covered with a heaaavy glass lid. Which mussle he choses to eat is considered s a tip for the chosen flag team to win.

Should he be right again, Germany would be out playing for third (I followed him life yesterdy in his decision between Germny and Spin, his movements re rported here 24 hours live). Seriously: Had aaaanbybody followed ll his predictions and betted all the money all the time he would by now have made 700.000 Euros with a 100 Euro start capital...

I know this is a bit premature, s Germany is not your rival yet (and, according to "Paaaaaul" wont be it), but enjoy anyway the song we sing in Germny to celebrate this color  : : "Orange trägt nur die Müllabfuhr (Orange only is worn by the garbage men)"...

At least the artists also states the things we like about Holland: Fabulous cheese ("Käsköpp" is what we cll them in Frankfurt), Tomatoes, their "Lakritz" (Licorice), the greaaat tits ot he girls at the coast, and the fact that we can give us a legal smoke everytime we waant there..

Read your copyright laws, last time I checked as long as there is a "unique" and "distinctive" input to create a work of art you can use other art as basis. the outhors (for our purpose) are the modifiers.

So, yes, until we hear differently (youtube deleting the stuff or one of the modifiers complaining) I am assuming we may.

Obviously nobody knows the third player in the list, it is Spnish for "They will lose" (van a perder)  

No prediction from my side for tonights final, two teams with all the right to be there, and the match will be decided by psychical attitude (hopefully not by the - historically really bad - English referee Webb in his last mtch ever, where he might be tempted to feel the star and to show off)

I won´t comment that in depth, but to me as more neutral observer it seems you suffer a syndrome of selective perception... The ref maybe wasn´t the best, but at least he did not give the penalty and the red cards (Kung-Fu is a new style I hadn´t seen in soccer before De Jong) in favor of Spain, so your team should have been glad to have had him (at least he understood your players when they complained and asked for cards). I am sure you will see my view reflected in tomorrows press (the match vs. Germny ws clean).

As for the match, indeed it was very hrd and a lot of contact sport instead of playing techniclly clean soccer, probably the tactics the Dutch searched to destroy the technicl superiority of the Spanish midfield, seems in the end we had everyting in this WC: Stoneage defending (Italy, Portugl, Chile, England, France etc.), velocity attcks (Jpn, Germny, SK), strtegies bsed on perfect organisation (Brazil, US, SK) superior technical soccer (Spain), and now even the physical challenge (Denmark, Uruguay, Holland).

Spain made it through all of this (and overcoming its own shortages sensibly  developing to the point we saw them today: Not only ball artists but also able to fight it out with an opponent searching for battle), and so for me are the well deserved winner of this WC. Actually if you look at the chances they missed it could well  have ended 1:5 or so...

Anyway, I hope this WC will provide a morle boost to the nation nd the crisis will find its end!

Absolutely the worst cup final of a major tournament I have ever seen.
Even worse than the Juventus vs AC Milan Champions League final a few years back which I always used as the standard for very poor football matches.  Well this final beat that by a mile and a half.

I'm very glad that Thomas Muller got to become the Golden Boot winner (which I said was a very serious possibility) and that the brilliant Diego Forlan got to become the winner of the Golden Ball award.  Great tributes to two great players.  The fact that none were in the final says something about that altogether!
