Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions. oh my god...never gave you guys a report...

The Scabs were good...really enjoyed them

Simple Minds were G R E A T!
I yelled, sceamed, sang until I was out of a voice....lots of people watched me since I really went out of my restricted zone...man...I didn't give a fuck about what they thought about me...I admit...I'm an 80's guy!  smallclap

countdown is now set for November 28th where Simple Minds perform at Brussels with OMD as intro...

I also finally got the live double CD from Depeche Mode recorded at Werchter where I saw them...took more then 2 months to get the CD's but is was worth the wait...not just a bootleg CD but CD's as you would buy them from the shop...good job DM...well worth the bucks!

well...the official 2009 holidays are over..we had a splendid week in Germany...a great guesthouse with a cook with magical fingers (and a masters degree in cooking)...an environment where within a 30'-45' drive you have everything you want/need...

finally I got fired today...it's negative news but positive for me...been asking for my papers for a long time...already started looking for new things!

biggest choice: back to school or work?

school: longterm or shortterm?
kids = 3 kinds of degrees possible = 3 months, 2 years or 3 years to school.
or industrial courses to give me some better papers.

work: must be close to home or, if not, I should get a car, had a car from work for 2 1/2 years so I don't have a car of my own anymore, if/when this becomes a problem I can get my old VW Golf back on the road.
what work? dunno, I loved this job but my boss made me sick. Maybe something in the automotive sector or something else...dunno...we'll see who reacts..

emails sent today:
1 for designer 'flyers and other promotional stuff'(& photographer) (very close to home = bicycle distance)
1 for almost the same job as I had until today in a Volvo workshop (close to home but it's a carworkshop)
1 for a job in the automotive sector (further away from home but again...it's a car workshop so I'll be asking a car)

we'll see what happens!

THUMBS UP for this dude, ok? roundthumbs

very good interview with the boss (who has 2 workshos/garages)
tomorrow 2nd interview, this time with the local boss/responsable, if that goes well I could start next monday 5/10/09

less work for the same money, car from work, 10-15 min drive (on the same road as my previous work) and maybe the chance to work fulltime in 4 days with 1 day off.
