Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions. Just a quick update (some good protrait photos tomorrow):

0345, just got home (dont ask me how, those 7 km sepentines can be hell if you are ... affected...) w/o any serious injuries.

Turns out I got it all wrong, have to go back tomorrow, the virthday is Monday (so celebs at 2400 sunday night).

Re: The concert, great night, dancing myself out (one was the song of the vid). Molly could not turn up as he is with a flu, but Robert (the sax guy in the vid) took over. Drums were run by Patrick Shanahan, x drummer of "New Riders of the Purple Sage", he lives next door (= 4 km, here at the Med a** of the world).

Geoff Evans http://www.geoffevansmusic.net/about_the_artist.html was there and will perform tomorow, also Fernando Rubin (http://fernandorubinguitars.com/guitars.html, photos yours truly) so expect some good material (I will be borrowing a vid camera from our local police officer to document, no guarantees on the qaulity).

Off to 2m horizontal

ROFL: What an interesting title for Valentines Day, room for interpretation, I am sure your wife will love you for choosing this one...  Brede lach (and, just curious: How long does a standard whip last for her?  Grijns)...

Just joking, nice songs!

Rattler,
What an intriguing set of artists doing "My Funny Valentine."  Most excellent.  The best one has to be Frank.  Of course.  It was fun to compare the styles.

Naturally, King Crimson, and the absolute classic "In the Court of the Crimson King" would need to be included.  They are right up there with Argent and their amazing "Hold Your Head High," one of my absolute favorites.

Koen, "Never Back Down" is a really good song, but the video is vicious.  Ouch.

FAO Koen: What a surge, man! One thingy with my Tech Hat on: Plz post a title: While the entry screen of utub shows it, once in motion you cannot see who you are watching...

FAO FACman: Just the opposite if I wear my tech hat:

Doogie Mclean- "Inside the Thunder"

Thx for the information, but: My guess: No way people as lazy as folks that go for a forum instead of a blog will start and go looking up titles/bands/albums on the net to see/hear them, I would suggest if you really want to have them looked at to provide the link additionally... Also, it is more fun as it makes sure ppl see what *you* were wanting to transmit instead of the band´s promotor...

Tech issues, but to keep in mind...

W/o my techadmin hat on: I cannot listen to >>Doogie Mclean- "Inside the Thunder" , so indeed it is not of much help.

OTOH, Spanish League half time: Barca vs. Espanyol 0:0, Madrid will make the league interesting again (6:1 currently vs. Betis), Henry supplemented for Busquets, and Barca has a  hard time fighting...

(EDIT: Min 49: Espanyol scored, atm only 7 pts advantage in the league to Madrid, but 40 min to go...

EDIT ... and it does not help much: Min 54 Barca 0, Espanyol 2 (!), you can follw live  - after registering -  here: http://www.live-player.com/fp/018/?lg=es&grpid=579&tag_id=378&gclid=COCgpZq37pgCFUYJ3wodqlz91Q, 8 yellows and one red - Barca playing with 10 - stuff for polemics in tomorrows sport news papers.... personally, I think Barca can still turn it, 70% posession and all the arty out...)

EDIT Foul on Etoo, anther yellow, this time for Espanyol, free kick... and while I am writing! Gooooool Baaaaarcaaaaa! Barca 1, Espanyol 2... 25 minutes to go...

EDIT Next yellow, Barca again, that is now more than 10 cards in one game (!), Barca now with 9, Espanyol with 10 (1 red, 2 double yellows), and it does not look like Barca would be able to turn tables now... A pity, but somehow previsible: Best run of a Spanish team ever (60 points currently of 65 possible - 68 possibly with todays game if it ends like this and 25 matches unbeaten - would be the first to break the rule), this is bad, bad news for a Barca fan and experienced soccer trainer: Barca shows fright (only soccer fans will understand what I am taliking about, slight errors summing up) Champions Wednesday? Cup Friday? And Madrid at the same time winning 6:1? This league has not ended, and I begin to doubt that Barca will make the triple or quadruple even if they play the best soccer I have seen in my life ever,... fright killls... Crisis if you just lose *one* match, etc. ... Really hope for soccer they can at least in the next 15 mins (that is what is left while I am writing) reach a draw...

EDIT 4 min + extra to go, Barca got the fighting spirit back, 5 chances in the last 5 min, Madrid finished... You can *see* that Iniesta is lacking, seems strange with such a great team, but it notes...

EDIT 1:15 left, another yellow for Espanyol, but nothing comes from it...

EDIT "La macina es humana" ("The machine" is human), after all: Barca 1, Espanyol 2, and ony 7 points to Madrid with 14 matches to go...

AND:

I NEED SOME MUSIC TO ACCOMPANY THE SOCCER!    Cool  Next game at 2200 JULIET Sevilla vs. Athletico Madrid
