(En Castellano mas abajo... = Spanish see below) Serious welcome to you, my friend... :)

You will find that English is not *that difficult* :) Glad to have you here, make yourself comfortable and check the soccer (futbol) thread... : http://www.warandtactics.com/smf/the-lounge-get-a-beer-go-off-topic/soccer-anyone-the-neverending-soccer-thread/msg13442/#msg13442 (http://www.warandtactics.com/smf/the-lounge-get-a-beer-go-off-topic/soccer-anyone-the-neverending-soccer-thread/msg13442/#msg13442)

(To the people not in the know, Estrunky is a cherished adversary/companion from Hattrick, he registered to be able to chat with me, he is Spanish - and a Madrid fan - and maybe has a problem with all being in English, but at 13 you have a long way to go and learn everything you want. Feel free to show him the rich field of warfare history, or talk just about soccer (futbol), maybe some of you might want to polish their Spanish?).

Rattler

dont get exited, he beat me 0:8 today in a friendly (me = Sant Elm Serpientes, he = Cocofurias), match played on neutral ground with cup rules:

Quote
Clouds darkened the skies at Sant Francesc as 176 spectators turned up for the match. Serpientes tactics involved an interesting 4-3-3 combination. They fielded: Florczuk - Darder, van der Wetering, Obradovi?, Soomets - Vega, Gerardina, Centkowski - Moradi, Gerards, Mouzinho de Albuquerque.

cocofurias started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. The following players took the field: Alés - Etter, Tortosa, Bereišis, Bouvier - de la Flor, Villagómez, Rivas, Soponen - Balló, Guerendain.

Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Serpientes on this day. cocofurias were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. The terraces were silenced after 28 minutes when cocofurias's Adrián Guerendain put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. 29 minutes into the game, Serpientes seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to passable. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Serpientes's Nicolás Vega was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 30 minutes. Thomas Behr was given a chance to change things around. The away team's Ramon Balló took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 34 minutes which increased cocofurias's lead to 0 - 2. Valerio Tortosa behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 36 minutes as he gave the ball away to Krzysztof Centkowski. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. Valerio Tortosa came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle, but he lifted the ball over Alfred Florczuk and it was a little too high and hit the bar. 0 - 2 was the halftime score. cocofurias enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 65 percent of possession.

A review of the gameplan helped Serpientes get back to a solid organization. Serpientes needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 46 minutes Jordi van der Wetering made way for Odd Gustavson. Some fine manoeuvring on the left led to a cocofurias goal after 47 minutes, making it 0 - 3. Adrián Guerendain was noted down as the scorer. The structure of the game started to change as cocofurias decided to pull back and meet their opponents in their own half. A drive on the left side allowed cocofurias's Adrián Guerendain to get in close and score a goal after 48 minutes, leading to 0 - 4. At that, Adrián Guerendain was noted down for a hat trick. 62 minutes into the game, Serpientes seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a weak level of organization. The game had been on for 69 minutes when Adrián Guerendain broke through on the right, upping the score for cocofurias to 0 - 5, much to the home crowd's dismay. The bench was restless, and in the 80th minute Serpientes's coach gave Brian Erenstein the opportunity the player had been hoping for. Alano Mouzinho de Albuquerque reluctantly left the field. The corner kick from Ramon Balló set Antonio Bouvier up perfectly, as he soared to meet the ball, heading it in for 0 - 6. With 85 minutes played, a phenomenal play on the left side freed Adrián Guerendain, of cocofurias, to dash through and score another goal for the visitors. The score was then 0 - 7. 86 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 8 as Ramon Balló finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. This half belonged to cocofurias, who controlled the ball 71 percent of the time.

Borzou Moradi performed admirably for Serpientes. Sergio Gerardina on the other hand, had a terrible day. cocofurias's top performer was clearly Ramon Balló. Niguel Alés was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 8.
