Mother killed, baby carved out of her womb

Police and distraught relatives of a murdered Worcester woman are desperate to find her missing baby after the 8-month-pregnant mother’s decomposing body was found with its womb ripped open and the female fetus removed.

“We want our baby back,” said a woman who identified herself as the aunt of Darlene Haynes, 23, who was found murdered Monday and wrapped in a blanket inside her apartment.

“We want our grandchild back, and we want to know why,” said the aunt, who declined to give her name.

some good news...the baby has been found

It's hard to believe that people will do these kind of awful, gruesome crimes, but they do.  I'm glad that the baby was found.
