Many polls expect a big win for right winged VVD, and a huge loss for centre left PVDA, ruling party CDA ( christian, centre right) will probably lose votes to. 16.00 Untill now only 38% of all people has voted. 18.00 49% voted, which is 9% less than 3 years ago. 20.00 66% voted, still 9% less than previous elections. 21.00 74% voted. Results. 3 big winners, VVD (31) PVDA (31) and new comer PVV (22) CDA has lost 50% of its parliament seats, which is a historicall loss. It will be a difficult task for the man who has to form the new government. Title: Re: Election day in The Netherlands Post by: Koen on 10 June 2010, 17:26:31 quite a change, I guess here in Belgium it will also be a BIG change with LOTS of problems afterwards.... how much will be split between north and south, between federal powers and the flemish and walloon parlements...who will control what?
