Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions. Anyone recognize this guy?  Don't know his nationality although that Iron Cross suggests a German (could others win it?) and don't know if he's royalty or a military leader (or both.)  thanks in advance for any help1

I am going to go with Prinzregent Luitpold von Bayern, son of King Ludwig I. of Bavaria, 12 March 1821–12 December 1912.

Hmm 9 month old post, still better late than never right?

Hehe you have no idea how much effort I put into finding that guy, I really hate to lose.

I lucked out and matched a couple of the medals which narrowed it down to this guy or Baden then I tripped over that picture which solved the problem.

(I think I actually sold this postcard some time ago; I owe you a beer next time you're in Seattle.)

Hehe careful what you wish for, I have several friends in Seattle.

Just unfortunate the information was too late to be of any use.
