Another of the weird stuff built by the end of WWII was the Seeteufel (Elefant) midget submarine that was equipped with tank tracks to make it to or out of the water. Constructed by TVA in Eckernförde, 1944

Tripulation:  2

Length: 13.5 m
Heigth: 2.9 m, 5.5 m (with schnorkel mast)
Displacement surfaced: ca. 2 t
Displacement submerged: 18 - 20 t

Propulsion: 1 petrol engine/1 AEG electric motor; 80hp/12hp
Max speed submerged: 10 kt (petrol/gas - with Schnorkel), 8 kt (Electric)
Radius surfaced: 30 hours at top speed, 80 hours at cruising speed
Radius submerged: 30 hours at top speed (petrol/gas), 10 hours at top speed (electric), 80 hours at cruising speed (petr/gas), 20 hours at cruising speed (electric)

Max diving depth: 50 m (prototype made 21 m)

Armament: 2x 533  torpedoes or 4 mines, 1 x 1 - 7.7 or 1 flamethrower
