Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions. yesterday during a playtest I succeeded in forcing a US anti-tank gun to surrender.

the gun was faced to the west and I surprised it with a fast approach of a 75mm german ht from the east.

the gun started to turn, slowly, but when I ordered the HT to drive into the hole where the ATG was stationed they surrendered and the ATG was marked as KO.

Not so uncommon when an AT gun is placed in a location which a vehicle can reach and the mechanic you saw was the equivalent of an overrun.  Just don't try it against a gun located in woods, forest or rough terrain as the game knows the approaching vehicle can't possibly enter the defending units location.  Usually ends with a dead vehicle.

Thats why in cm you have to be carefull with trenches in woods Knipoog
Guns in the trench can be overrun by vehicles if the trench is slightly outside the woodtile .

it was strange to see, as long as the vehicle was static the gun kept on turning...the moment the vehicle (which was very close) started to move the gun surrendered

during the turning my vehicle did not consider the gun as lethal since it didn't fire or put any LOF on the gun
