2.Olav Tryggvason, a 1924-ton minelayer, was built at Horton, Norway. Launched in 1932 and completed in 1934, she served as a cadet training ship and minelayer. Captured during the German invasion in April 1940, she was employed by the German Navy under the names Albatros (1940-41) and Brummer (1941-45) during the rest of World War II. She was scuttled at Kiel, Germany, in May 1945 after being badly damaged by bombs.

Post war interned and scuttled at Scapa Flow.
