Banya Pass was my favourite of all the scenario's. One of th ebest I ever played.

Personally I liked this one better then the CMBB scenario.

Funny is that Marcel thought it favoured the allied and I think he German side get the better equipment.

I'm still very active as a CM player. Think more active then two, three years back. But I never have even tried to make a scenario myself. Even running tests etc. are to much of an effort for me. I just want to play !!

Over at FGM there still is an active (and not childish) and growing club which mainly plays Combat Mission. Regularly starting new tournaments with fresh ideas. I think the game is awesome. So much possibilities etc.
I think there will be combat mission for the next two decades at least...

As I wrote in the wrongthread: I like this one. Lot of surprises and a lot of possiblities to try and use different tactics.

Yes, like the CMAK one. Lik ethe CMBB one much less: very difficult to get anywhere in that one. The CMAK one gives you a lot op options for surpises, tactics etc.

Games with Marshall well under way. Made a mess already in the CMBB match. Thought it was a ME in which we started at opposite sides of the map: dead Russian squads litter the streets.....

Curious if the CMAK one will be balanced; with all the strange units on both sides.

I think the total of my round 1 scores are to low. I had a minor victory and a tactical one. Don't know the exact scores, but the total was more then 100....

Tactical victory to the axis: 68-32

Eric surrendered as he saw no way to stop the German advance being out of armour and just some infantry left. Of course it gave me the extra points for the captured prisioners etc.

We finished the 21st panzer game. The 3AD one had gone into overtime, but should not take many more turns. Eric has left this weekend for a holiday of a fortnight so we finish that one hopefully by the end of this month.

Eric and I are with both games at around #25 of file numbers. We didn't restart the 21st Panzer scenario.

We'll be awhile before both games are finished.
