once Belgium had an army.....



am I correct to assume that the turret was taken off a tank and put on this vehicle?

the Lion at the front was used by the Belgian groundforces, this one is as far as I know an indication of inland use. The Belgian forces in Germany (BSD:Belgische strijdkrachten in Duitsland) use a Red/White background

also notice the red-painted wheelbolts, a common joke amongst the soldiers with older vehicles

I think its a Staghound armored car with a 37mm gun.
There is no wheeled tank, a tank is a vehicle with tracks.

About what, that particular vehicle or the T17 E1 Armoured Car (Staghound) in general?

The markings are those of the Belgian Armoured Car Regiment of the Brigade "Piron"
