for flight seems to be the tool, I have stopped simming a long time ago because of the unrealistic view (have to point the a/c to see something), which is absolutely conter intuitive to the person who has learned to never stop moving your head in RL.

Should I ever get so far out of debt that this would be an option it would be the first fun thing I would buy.

It's the only way to go.  I have it and use it with IL2.  Vast difference from using the hat switch.
