Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions. Exercise Peregrine Sword,

a 3 week long exercise held in southern Germany to test the abilities and readiness of the airmobile brigade.
My unit ( reserve) is a part of this brigade and because of that we can now participate with these professional soldiers in all kind of exercises.
They can learn from us and we learn valuable lessons from them.
I have spent 10 days with the brigade.

Our mission was:

Support the airmobile brigade and take over tasks from them so the entire brigade could do "their" job and have maximal training time without having to worry about issues as guardduty and security.
Tasks:
Accompany military convoys and provide security during (tactical)roadmarches.
Securing the main and tactical CP.
Securing our units main compound from where all troop movements took place.
Providing security for the airdefense units and all other units who could not provide their own security.
And much, much more.
Enjoy the pictures!

Overlooking the compound.
