Well, my elation was short lived, as the first PBEM I tried with CMBB, was unloadable by my opponents (tried two different Buddys). My splash screen says v1.03, yet my opponents report," unable to load due to different version".( I had initiated the game in both instances. )

I can play the game well enough hotseat, but as you all know, playing vs the AI leaves a lot to be desired. The AI could never spank me in 'Banya Pass' , as well as Huzaar did!

Any clues...?

UPDATE:

CD-ROM rw is in. Reloaded CMBB without a hitch...but...when I tried to play, the infamous "[ not supported ]" box dead center of the screen was my reward...bah!

Make sure the no CD bug you are trying to use is for the same version of the game you are trying to run.
