Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions.  MR,
I posted a reply in the Indepth Study of Barbarossa regarding Romanovka and the Eisen Faust scenario.  Should I have posted that under this section?

At the time this thread didn't exist. I put this thead up here just so that we can discuss what is out in the main history threads without cluttering them up with posts not associated with the main topic of the theads. So, id you would I'd ask you to move it over here then delete the one in the other thread. Or I can have Koen do it.

In answer to your comments I have some books on 1st SS but what will be easier than that for me is to just get Warmonger over here to put his own information on the site.

Glad that you are finding the information interesting. So far alot of facts and figures. There will be an indepth article on my point of view of the campaign here before I'm through with it.

Good Hunting.

Heinrich505  I made that scenario about 6 years ago so I am a bit foggy on the particulars. My books are currently boxed up so I will have to search for them so you will have to give me a couple of days to find them.  Rollende ogen

I probally did not have a lot of info to go on which is a common problem researching Eastern Front battles compared to Western Front battles.   Tong

Warmonger,
Ah, no problem.  If you get around to it, that's fine.  I was just curious, as the scenario was so well done and it piqued my curiosity.  I agree, there are so many difficulties in trying to research the eastern front action.  Everything seems to have been destroyed many times over.  The Russians destroyed everything going east, and the Germans destroyed everything going west.  All that is sometimes left is recollections of veterans, who are foggy about what actually happened, except for the really horrible stuff, which stays in their memory.  If you find your stuff, great.  If not, that's cool too.  I hope you enjoyed my AAR on the Eisen Faust scenario at TSDII.

It was too bad about Warhawk.  He was quite gifted in his details on that scenario AAR.  As for your son, I was sorry to hear about that, and hope he is putting on the good fight and is WINNING.  I lost my mother to cancer and have been giving to research ever since.
