Fw-58 "Weihe" nose-cone view on postcard.  this image looks 'staged' to me; maybe it's the lighting?  Would it be possible to get this image from a plane that's actually in flight?

I find it doubtful unless the photographer was mounted on the left propeller spinner.  It looks like a composite photo.

It would be difficult to get sufficient deapth of field with the lens to include both the machinegunner and the background airplane in focus at the same time.

yes, my first impression is that it's staged.  shows some nice detail, though!  propaganda purposes would be well-served with a postcard like this.

It doesn't even look like a photograph. More like a well done drawing.

Good Hunting.
