Welcome to War and Tactics!    War and Tactics Forum is currently undergoing some modifications that might disable features you are used to. This is unabvoidable as we have to update the forum engine to a new structure that is incompatible with many of the features we had used so far. The good news: WaT will be more secure and stable, and most of the features we uninstalled will be a natural part of the new structure anyway. For the rest we will be looking for solutions. It is amazing just how much of a military you can afford when you rely on foreign aid to feed your kids.

Do a search on this topic I have wrote abiout this item.
I have also posted a letter from the military technology about this issue.
Above their annual budget (8 times higher than my country defense spending) they spent roughly 120 billion euros worth of additional weapons in the last decade.
The majority of the really poor people (more than in entire continent Africa) live in India.

Yeah I am afraid nothing annoys me more than to read how much India is spending on weapons while I watch adverts on TV that encourage me to send money so that their kids can get a couple of meals a day, an education and inoculations in between documentaries on institutionalised slavery or entire villages in India.

Yesterday evening there was a report on TV about the lack of toilets in India. More than half the population sh*** in rivers, on the street etc. The reporters went on a small boattrip on a big river that turned into a dead, black open sewer. On a distance of 500m people were sh**tting, washing themselves and taking water for tea..... from the same water.... all leading to diseases and thousands of deads every year... in 2011  hdbng

unbelievable! at the same time you can see the brand new metro passing by.....
