Kyle Mizokami (TacOpsers will probably know him for his engagement for releasing TO 1.0 in the ´90s and the help he provided without which this would have been impossible, or at least they have played the TF Mizokami scenario that has been dedicated to him by the Major):
Seems the Chinese let Japanese a/c "accidentally" spot and take a picture of a naval spy drone. Maybe not the most modern stuff, but showing in what direction they are researching: Considering where the drone was spotted — at sea, and above warships — and its apparent size (roughly 12 feet), it’s probably a rough analogue to the U.S. Navy’s RQ-2 Pioneer. In 1991, that drone helped the battleship USS Missouri aim its 16-inch guns at Iraqi shore targets. Today, the Pioneer has been superseded in American service by far more sophisticated ship-launched drones.
